Buyer Beware Before You Shop Target!!

So, my daughter's baby shower was this past weekend and she got several repeat items, like most expecting moms do. Right?! Well, we gather some of these products, some of which she didn't have the receipt for, because they were gifts!!!!! (Who likes to ask the person who gave you a gift for a receipt so you can return or exchange it?!!!!! Right?!!) Anyway, I can see why the folks at TARGET wouldn't want someone to bring back an item for a refund of money but, TARGET wouldn't even let her exchange the items for some items she really needed worse. Like crib sheets and bottles. Then when I called TARGET'S 800 number to discuss this with customer service, who could understand the person on the other end of the phone?!!!!! It seems TARGET'S Customer Service line is answered in India!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No kidding! I asked!!!!!! I will not buy another flippin thing from TARGET and would appreciate everyone helping me to get the word out about their NEW return policy!!!!!! Actually it should be called a NO RETURN POLICY!!!!!!!!!!!!!TARGET used to be one of the best but, wow what in the world happened?!!!!! I was thinking what if some mom who didn't have the means to even feed her child tried to return an item to buy formula for her baby and they said NO because she didn't have a stupid receipt. Oh, and the kicker is all the items were on her registry. TARGET'S own registry program and TARGET wouldn't let her exchange them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
